Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint James, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of St. James is requesting proposals for the removal and replacement of windows at the city-owned Depot building located at 301 Tiell Drive, St. James, MN 56081. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality, information and/or errors in the proposal, and to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the City. Proposal specifications may be obtained at St. James City Hall during normal business hours or on the City's website at www.ci.stjames.mn.us. All questions will be directed to Chad Stradtman, Street/Park Superintendent at chad.stradtman@ci.stjames.mn.us or 507-381-2833. Scope of Work : The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to: 1. Remove 15 existing windows and 4 existing doors. a. 9 large wide windows; b. 2 large narrow windows; c. 4 window above the doors; d. 4 doors 2. Properly dispose of removed material. 3. Furnish and install new windows meeting current Minnesota Building Code requirements. 4. Ensure proper flashing, sealing, and interior/exterior finish restoration, including matching existing aesthetic of the siding and trim. 5. Match or preserve historic character. 6. Provide final clean-up of the site.
