The Housing Authority of the Town of Rayville is accepting bids for the 2024-2025 CFP. Bids must be submitted on the "Louisiana Uniform Bid Form" in Section E of the specifications. A certified check or bank draft, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany each bid. A performance and payment bond equal to the contract sum will be required from the successful bidder, issued by a Bonding Company licensed in Louisiana. Contractors must comply with equal employment opportunity and pay at least the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications. Bidders may withdraw a bid within 48 hours of bid time only for patently obvious unintentional, substantial clerical or mathematical errors by sworn affidavit; all other withdrawals will result in forfeiture of bid bond. Compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 is required. For bids of $50,000 or more, contractors must certify that they hold an active license under Louisiana Revised Status 38:2150-2163, show their license number on the bid and envelope, and only bid on work covered by their license classification. The project classification is "Building Construction." The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
