Renovation of a military facility in Billings, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Three projects are to be performed at federal facilities in Montana and include restoration, office construction, and HVAC system installation. Work at the Billings USMS facility involves stainless steel restoration, including removing scratches from stainless steel benches and walls in areas to be verified during a contractor, USMS, and GSA walk-through, along with painting. Work at the Bozeman FSA facility requires construction of a new wall with metal studs, installation of a matching door and frame, extending the wall to the deck above, installing matching baseboard, adding electrical receptacles if required by code, repairing or replacing carpet as needed, painting the entire room with low VOC paint to match existing finishes, repairing the affected ceiling grid, relocating fire sprinklers according to code, and adjusting HVAC ceiling penetrations as needed. Work at the Bozeman FWS facility includes installing a heat removal system for ultra-low temperature freezers to maintain room temperatures between 64.4F and 89.6F, with the contractor to investigate and propose either a new exhaust system with a fresh air supply duct or a ductless split-system AC unit with a fresh air supply, along with pricing. All work requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision; comply with applicable codes and standards; submit a detailed cost breakdown and proposed solutions; maintain OSHA and GSA safety standards; coordinate access during business hours; and ensure personnel meet HSPD-12 badge requirements.
