The Town of Brighton, Marathon County is accepting bids for the delivery of 6,750 tons, more or less, of DOT Grade 3 material not to exceed 5/8" in diameter and 6,750 tons, more or less, of Halder type decomposed road surfacing material. The material must be delivered anywhere in the Town of Brighton within 10 days of initial request, using a minimum of 6 trucks. The materials must be free from wood, concrete, asphalt, and other deleterious materials, and must not have additional water added, except for naturally occurring moisture. Mechanical watering prior to delivery is prohibited unless written consent is provided by the town chairman. Any load found to have water intentionally added will be rejected. The Town Board reserves the right to inspect and reject any or all material. Bidders must include a certificate of insurance with their bid. The Town reserves the right to reject all bids.
