The scope involves a unit price contract for street rehabilitation flatwork. The City of San Antonio may order all, some, or none of the tasks shown, and projects will be assigned as available. The quantities are estimated for budgetary purposes, and the awarded contract does not guarantee the entire scope listed. The estimated construction value is $1,000,000.00. Instructions to bidders include: - All bidding must be performed online via ; no hard copies are accepted. - Bidders are responsible for obtaining and adhering to all addenda. - All required documents (listed in ) must be completed with digital signatures and submitted online. - Bidders must register with the San Antonio E-Procurement System (SAePS). - Compliance is required with prevailing wage rate requirements, SBEDA, Local Preference Program, VOSB Program, Responsible Bidder, and Heat Illness ordinances. - Subcontractor/Supplier Commitment Form is required per SBEDA based on the base bid amount. - The work must be substantially completed within 365 calendar days. - No hazardous environmental work or project signs are included in this project. Question Deadline 04/02/2026 at 4:00 PM CT The Deadline for questions is scheduled via Online. The contract shall be terminated three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days from the start of the contract. Contract execution timelines shall be in accordance with the City of San Antonio General Conditions Articles XI.3.4 and XI.3.5. The construction time (in calendar days) for each individual siter will be negotiated between the City Engineer or Project Manager and the Contractor. The Contractor may also be limited to the amount of individual project sites open at any given time based on performance or available resources. Liquidated damages for construction time will be assessed on a per site basis should the Contractor fail to complete the construction in the specified calendar days as negotiated by the City Engineer or Project Manager. The Contractor shall refer to the section 4.2.6 of the general conditions for claims for additional contract time due to inclement weather. Project construction may include but is not limited to: removal and replacement or installation of concrete curbs, sidewalks, driveways, concrete retaining wallscombination type, and curb ramps, concrete pavement for minor street reconstruction, minor asphalt replacement, removing and relocating mail boxes, topsoil, sodding, tree pruning, removal and/or replacement, sign relocation, door hangers, adjusting meter boxes, valve boxes and manholes, and any other items required due to the site conditions to accomplish the project scope. Quantities included in this contract, as well as the entire bid amount are not guaranteed. Unit prices established shall remain valid throughout the duration of the contract.
