The proposed work involves the removal, dewatering of sludge, and transporting it from the Coddle Creek Water Treatment Plant located at 6935 Davidson Highway, Concord, NC 28027, to the Republic Services Charlotte Motor Speedway Landfill on Morehead Road behind Charlotte Motor Speedway. Bids will be received on a unit cost basis. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina. A five percent (5%) bid security must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond. Contractors and all subcontractors must conform to the labor standards set forth in the contract documents. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award to the lowest responsible bidder, considering quality, performance, and time specified in the bid form for performance of work. The owner also reserves the right to waive informalities.
