The project involves work at the RUFFIAN EQUINE MEDICAL CENTER for the Standing CT Room and PET Installation for Cornell University. Bidders are provided with electronic bid documents that include instructions, proposal forms, general and supplemental conditions, drawings, specifications, and addenda. The documents are to be accessed through the Owner's electronic project management Bid Portal, and are managed for distribution by Dataflow, Inc. Bidders must use the documents solely for preparing their bids and are restricted from sharing or altering the contents except for internal bid preparation. A pre-bid conference and walkthrough are scheduled to help bidders understand the contract documents. Bidders attending must provide appropriate personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and project-specific requirements, and sign a release if using Cornell equipment. Bid submissions must include: - Base Bid, broken down by the Bid Scope Tab Schedule of Values, entered into the Bid Portal. - Bid Proposal Certification Form - Bid Bond - Bond Surety Company - Bonding Rate for Change Orders - Proposed Project Team and Resumes - Proposed Project Schedule - Substitutions, if any All bid documents must be completed and submitted electronically via the project management Bid Portal before the stated deadline. Alternate proposals must include all associated overhead, profit, and related expenses. The Owner intends to award the contract to one General Contractor, based on the lowest responsive and responsible base bid and overall bidder qualifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive informalities. Bids are to remain valid for a minimum period set by the Owner. Contract award is also subject to the Owner's approval of the Contractor's Qualification Statement.
