Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The contractor shall provide all labor, insurance, equipment, materials, and power required to complete the Tract 20 West Lead Service Line and Water Main Replacement project. This includes the installation of 2,200 feet of 2-inch and 840 feet of 6-inch HDPE pipe using horizontal directional drilling, hydrants, valves, approximately 400 services, and all other necessary appurtenances, according to the bidding documents prepared by the City Utilities Engineering Department. No bid will be accepted from, nor will a contract be awarded to, any party in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, or who has failed to satisfactorily execute any contract with the City, or who is a defaulter to the City or engaged in litigation with it. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 90 days to allow for review before contract award. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory labor and material payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids for failure to comply with laws or instructions, or to waive any defect in any bid.
