Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Long Beach, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for all materials, labor, tools, and services necessary to install the Willow Creek Pump Station Improvements as per the construction plans and contract specifications. The project generally involves rehabilitating the existing pump station by replacing pumps, valves, valve vault, electrical equipment, performing site work, installing guide rails, replacing the top of the wet well and access hatches, and associated work. Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. For bids exceeding $50,000, the Certificate of Responsibility Number must be indicated on the outside of the sealed proposal; for bids not exceeding $50,000, the bidder must indicate the Certificate Number or write "Bid does not exceed $50,000." The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to ninety (90) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
