Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Long Beach, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited for all materials, labor, tools, and services necessary to install the Johnson and Beatline Pump Station Improvements per the design shown on the Construction Plans and as described in the Contract Specifications. The project generally consists of rehabilitating the existing pump station by replacing pumps, valves, valve vault, electrical equipment, site work, installing guide rails, replacing the top of the wet well and access hatches, and associated work. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. For bids exceeding $50,000, the Bidder must indicate their Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed proposal. For bids not exceeding $50,000, the Bidder must either indicate their Certificate Number, or clearly write "Bid does not exceed $50,000." The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of bids for review and investigation of qualifications prior to awarding the contract.
