This specification covers the design, materials, welding, inspection, protective coatings, drawings, and delivery of steel transmission single pole structures. The proposal submitted by the manufacturer shall include field bolts, locknuts, vangs, attachment provisions for arms and/or insulators, anchor bolts, base plates, and other necessary items to make a complete structure. Manufacturer shall optimize pole designs based on provided loads. Instructions for submitting bids and complete specifications are available in the Office of the Procurement Manager, Greenville Utilities Commission, 401 S. Greene Street, Greenville, North Carolina, during regular office hours, 8:30AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. Greenville Utilities Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Late bids will not be considered.
