Renovation of a library in Bound Brook, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Sealed bids will be received for the complete construction of Alterations for SCLSNJ Bound Brook Library Branch, located at 402 East High Street, Bound Brook, New Jersey, together with all work incidental thereto and in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Cornerstone Architectural Group, LLC. Bids must include all applicable unit prices and numbered alternate bids and be submitted using the prepared Bid Form. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Borough Clerk and marked with the name and address of the bidder and the contract being bid. Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Specifications, Drawings, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Architects. Bidders must use complete sets of Contract Documents in preparing bids. Bidding information must be clear and not subject to qualifications, deletions, erasures, or other markings that create doubt as to its meaning. Bidders should ensure the bid is signed by a duly authorized person and that the bid is responsive. Bidders are required to comply with requirements concerning New Jersey Business Registration, Affirmative Action, Statement of Business Ownership, and Public Works Contractor Registration. A certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent of the total price bid (not in excess of $20,000) must be submitted, payable to the Borough of Bound Brook. Each bidder shall also submit a Consent of Surety from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey, stating that it will provide the successful bidder with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject, any or all bids in whole or in part, in accordance with applicable law. Attention is called to the requirements of employment conditions and minimum prevailing wage rates under the contract. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty days after the opening. Instructions must be followed exactly or the bid may be declared non-responsive.
