Childers Construction Company invites trade contractors to submit proposals for the FSU Parking Garage 1 Remodeling - Phase 2 project at Florida State University. Bid packages are available for several trades including Concrete, Architectural Casework, Doors/Frames/Hardware/Specialties, Storefront, Drywall/ACT, Flooring, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Electrical. Bidders are instructed to obtain bid documents from the Childers Construction FTP site and submit sealed bids to Childers Construction Company by the designated deadline. Every subcontractor must submit bids either electronically or by hand delivery. All communication regarding questions about the bid must be sent by email. The project scope includes interior renovation, minor envelope modifications, ADA improvements, and replacement of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems Pre-qualification requirements: All bidders must pre-qualify with the Construction Manager seven business days prior to the bid date. Prequalification forms are included with the bid documents on the Childers Construction website. Every subcontractor must be prequalified for 2026 to be eligible to bid on this project.
