SPECIFICATIONS for CUMBERLAND COUNTY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT DETENTION CENTER MIXING VALVE REPLACEMENT. A mandatory pre-bid conference was held for this project. Only contractors who attended are eligible to bid. Bids must be submitted before the deadline. It is the vendor's responsibility to ensure timely delivery of the bid. All questions should be directed to the Engineering Project Manager before the conference via email. Bids must be received via email or delivered in person and must be submitted on the printed form or exact copies found in the contract documents. Bidders must identify all minority businesses to be utilized, with corresponding dollar values and required affidavits, or indicate that work will be self-performed. Failure to meet these requirements can lead to rejection. The apparent Low Bidder may be required to submit additional affidavits for MWBE participation. A 5% bid bond is required. Performance and Payment Bonds are mandatory. All statutory licensing provisions of North Carolina for Contractors apply. Plans and specifications are available for public inspection upon request. Addendums or corrections will be sent to vendors who attended the pre-bid conference or posted online. Communication with any county employees or commissioners not designated in the invitation is prohibited; non-compliance may result in disqualification.
