The Contractor shall furnish and deliver all of the materials, and perform all of the work in the manner and form as provided by the following enumerated plans, specifications and documents, which are attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully contained herein: Notice to Bidders; General Conditions; Supplementary General Conditions. The contractor shall install 8" flexible perforated polymer type commercial sock drain in the general location shown on sheet C3.0 prepared by Crawford Design Company. The drain pipe must be laid with a gentle, consistent slope, and the lower end must be connected to existing catch basins with leak proof seals. Commercial landscape fabric is to be placed between stone and topsoil to allow water penetration but limit soil infiltration, with fabric top edges overlapped by 4" as detailed on sheet C3.0. The contractor is responsible for restoring the grass area to its pre-work condition, with no reseeding accepted. Every precaution must be taken to protect the existing track from damage by materials and equipment. Requirements for bidding include: providing three references from satisfied commercial customers, furnishing the NC License Number as required for projects costing $30,000 or more, providing legally required insurance for employees, and furnishing a certificate of insurance to the owner with specified minimum coverage levels for workman's compensation, general liability, property damage, automobile liability, and builder's risk or installation floater. Recruitment of minority business participation is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
