The general scope of work consists of the replacement of the existing split AC unit with hot water coil with same like-and-kind equipment. This includes miscellaneous electrical, HVAC controls, and fire alarm. Single prime proposals only will be received for all construction work. Requirements for bidding on this project include: three references from previously satisfied public-school customers of similar size, scope, and timeframe; furnishing NC License Number as per G.S. Chapter 87; providing insurance for employees as required by law, which includes Workman's Compensation, Employers Liability, General Liability, Property Damage, Automobile Liability, and Builder's Risk or Installation Floater Contract Amount; and recruitment of minority business participation in accordance with G.S. 143-128. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
