Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Richford, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
General Construction includes all building construction, site work, structural concrete, foundations, demolition, asbestos abatement, earthwork, grading, drainage, paving, curbs/sidewalks, stormwater systems, septic system installation, well construction, landscaping/restoration, doors, windows, building envelope, interior partitions, finishes, specialties, equipment pads, bollards, and coordination with all other trades. All work must comply with NYSDOT standards where applicable, NYS Education Law, and all referenced codes. Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning requires furnishing and installing all mechanical systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, ERVs, unit heaters, kitchen hood connections, hazardous gas detection, exhaust systems, ductwork, equipment supports, insulation, controls, and testing/commissioning, coordinated with structural, electrical, and architectural requirements. Plumbing includes providing complete plumbing systems such as domestic water, sanitary waste, venting, septic tank and pump station connections, force main, underground piping, fixtures, gas piping (LP), floor drains, backflow prevention, equipment connections, testing, disinfection of potable water systems, and all trenching/backfill associated with plumbing utilities, meeting NYSDOH, NYSDEC, and code requirements. Electrical requires providing all power distribution, panels, branch circuitry, lighting, lighting controls, site power, generator connections, fire alarm systems, equipment wiring, well and pump station power/controls, gas detection wiring, grounding/bonding, conduit, wiring devices, and required labeling, with fire alarm installation in compliance with NFPA 72 and applicable NYS standards. Bidders must become official plan holders to obtain project files and receive addenda and updates, and it is the responsibility of plan holders to check and download any addenda prior to submitting bids.
