Boulder County is soliciting formal bids from qualified vendors for the supply of fractured rock chips to be used in the County’s summer chip seal program. The material must meet CDOT specifications 703.05 for material quality and must qualify as Type II or Type I in material size as specified in CDOT table 703-7. Vendors are to specify material cost per ton as well as trucking rates in the event the material needs to be hauled on behalf of the County. Vendors are invited to submit pricing, availability, and service details according to the specifications outlined.
