Remodeling of an educational facility in Boaz, Alabama. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Separate sealed bids will be received for painting, flooring, and lighting upgrades at the Elder Hall Dormitory on the Boaz, AL campus. A complete bid package must be submitted before the designated bid opening times. A cashier's check or bid bond, not less than 5% of the bid amount (and not more than $10,000), must accompany the proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance as required in the bid documents are required at the signing of the Contract. All bidders must be licensed by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors. Bids may be mailed or hand-delivered; emailed submissions will not be accepted. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for general contractors wishing to bid. Snead State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if it serves the best interests of the College.
