Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the construction of improvements for the City of Tyler, Texas. The project, named the 2026 Seal Coat Project (Bid Number: 26-018), includes providing a seal coat treatment to approximately 17 lane miles of roadways in the City of Tyler. Materials specified are AC-20-5TR or AC20XP asphalt and Type PD or PL Grade 4 and Grade 5 aggregate. The project scope also includes fog sealing streets after the seal coat is completed, as well as pavement repair and striping. Bidders may obtain forms of proposal, contract, bonds, insurance, plans, and specifications at the office of the City Engineer, Water Utilities Administrative Office, with a non-refundable deposit. Electronic plans and specifications are available upon email request. The successful bidder must submit a Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) at the time the signed contract is submitted. Completion- October 1, 2026, Q/A:- Bidders desiring further information or interpretations must make request for such information to the Project Designer prior to four (4) working days before the time of the bid opening. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery.
