Renovation of a multi-residential development in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of April 13, 2026 the project has been awarded. The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from interested parties for the rehabilitation of one home located in Cherokee County. The work includes carpentry, drywall and finish, electrical, flooring, plumbing, roofing, and thermal protection. Work must be completed according to the work write-up within 20 working days, starting within two weeks of notification. Liquidated damages of $100 per working day will be charged for extensions beyond the contract end date. To be considered, bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up. Preference is given to TERO certified bidders, and proof of certification must accompany the bid. Compliance with Tribal rules and regulations, as well as TERO requirements, is mandatory. The responsible contractor providing the lowest, most responsive bid will receive a purchase order, subject to availability of funds. Bids may be emailed or hand delivered, and late bids will not be considered. Bids are accepted from Indian and Non-Indian bidders. The winning bidder must meet all TERO requirements and pay applicable fees, including $25 per day per non-Indian employee on the project.
