Renovation of an educational facility in Charleston, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Question deadline is 04/08/2026. The project consists of renovating Baker Gym, Auxiliary Gym, Wrestling Room, and Weight Room. Work includes carpentry, interior finishes, bleachers, gym equipment, ventilation, and electrical. Prevailing wages in accordance with Coles County are required. Bid security is required in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bids are to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner.
