All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract. The project is comprised of approximately the following items of work: A. 240 Tons of Superpave Mixture Base Repair B. 34,975 SY of Milling C. 34,975 SY of Superpave Mixture Wearing Course Overlay D. Required Line Work E. Incidental Work All bidding documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. The successful bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay PennBID a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract value for fixed fee contracts, and 1/6 of 1% of the contract value for termed contracts. There is a minimum award fee of $150 and a cap at $6,000 plus tax of the contract award value. Each bid must be submitted online and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least ten percent of the total bid. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to bids greater or equal to $25,000. Township Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Township.
