The project is for the construction of a 1.2 mile shared-use path along Davids Drive in Wilmington, Ohio, beginning at the existing shared-use path along Lynne Lane and terminating near the Wilmington Christian Academy Athletic Facility. Bids must be submitted electronically; no paper bids will be accepted. Bidders must obtain project bidding documents from Bid Express, register, and be a member of the web service to bid. Each proposal must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, with the successful bidder required to provide a 100% Performance Bond upon award. Bidders must submit evidence of their experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors may bid, and the prime contractor must perform at least 30 percent of the total original contract price. Prevailing wage rates will apply. The Board of Control reserves the right to accept or reject bids and to waive any irregularities. * Question deadline is 04/06/2026 11:59 PM EDT - All questions must be submitted via bid express prior to the deadline.
