Sealed bid proposals are requested for a project located on Knox Road in Fairfield, PA, beginning at the intersection of Knox Road and Carrolls Tract Road and proceeding east for 4,040 feet, ending where the gravel portion meets the paved section. The work includes delivering, placing, and compacting Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA). The scope of work covers furnishing all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, and miscellaneous items required, and performing all tasks necessary to complete the project to the satisfaction and approval of the Township. Materials should be sourced locally and the project must be completed by June 12, 2026. Instructions to bidders: A bid bond or certified check equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid is required with the proposal. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Dirt & Gravel Grants to the Township. Proposal packets are available at the Township office.
