Renovation of a multi-residential development in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Question deadline is 04/22/2026 as per Addendum 1. The work involves the modernization of existing elevators, associated equipment, and all related work at Scott and Chestnut Towers. Contractors are to refer to drawings and specifications for additional information. Bids are invited from bona fide General Construction, Mechanical Construction, and Electrical Construction contract bidders. Bidders must submit a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond equal to ten percent of the Base Bid with their sealed bid proposal. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bonds, each equal to one hundred percent of the contract price, as well as a one-year Maintenance Bond. All bond costs are to be included in the Base Bid. Attention is called to provisions for equal employment opportunity, compliance with Section 3 Regulations (employment opportunities for low-income persons in HUD-funded construction and modernization projects), and payment of wages as set forth in the specifications. The agency does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin. The Sunbury Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in bids.
