The scope includes the installation of fencing, waterline, watering facilities, roofed animal heavy use area, and roofed manure storage facility. A mandatory bidders' site meeting will be held on site. Proposals will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend and sign in at the site meeting. Plans will be made available to bidders. The chosen contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance with specified minimums, naming the required parties as additional insured. A 5% bid bond is required, and the awarded contractor will need to post a performance and materials payment bond. The project is subject to Prevailing Wage requirements as funded by specified agencies. Bids will be evaluated based on bid price, qualifications and experience, attendance at the pre-bid meeting, and bid completeness. A complete bid includes a detailed bid form, statement of qualifications, 5% bid bond, and rate sheet.
