Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Pavement Crack and Joint Sealing Hot Applied project for the City of Westlake. Specifications are available at the Office of the Director of Engineering. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "2026 PAVEMENT CRACK AND JOINT SEALING HOT APPLIED" and must include the full name of each person or company interested. Each bid requires either a Bid Bond or Certified Check for five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder must execute the contract within ten (10) working days of presentation, provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the total bid, submit required insurance certificates, and comply with applicable laws including The Davis-Bacon Act, Contract Work Hours Standard Act, The Copeland Act, Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Ohio's prevailing wage laws. Non-compliance with E.E.O. or other requirements may result in bid rejection. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No proposal will be considered unless submitted on the forms provided by the City.
