Site work and paving for a residential development in Westlake, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
Sealed bids are requested for asphalt resurfacing at Settlers Reserve Subdivision, Hunter's Point and Kingsbrooke Lane for the City of Westlake. Bids must be submitted according to the specifications provided and returned in a sealed envelope marked for the project. Copies of the bid form, plans, and specifications are available for a non-refundable fee. Each bid must include the full name of all parties involved and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, from an approved Surety Company authorized in Ohio. The successful bidder must, within ten working days of contract presentation, execute the contract, provide required performance and labor and material bonds (each for 100% of the total price bid), and submit required insurance certificates and documentation. The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Contract Work Hours Standard Act, Copeland Act, Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and prevailing wage rates per the Ohio Revised Code. The City of Westlake reserves the right to reject non-compliant bids, all bids, and to waive any formalities.
