Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Three Springs, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following: 952 tons of Superpave Wearing Course, 19.0mm, in place; and 187 tons of Aggregate Shoulder, in place. Proposals must be submitted using forms provided by the Municipality. Bids need to be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of 10% of the bid amount, made payable to the municipality; for other municipal types, this is at the municipality's discretion. A performance bond or certified check of 100% of the contract amount must be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after contract award. Liquidated damages apply at $975.00 per calendar day. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies if the bid exceeds $100,000.00. 3" Superpave Asphalt Wearing Course, 19.0mm, 50 gyration, in place. Aggregate Shoulders, in place (Shoulder Back up with 2RC).
