Site work for a power facility in Roseville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
The City of Roseville Electric Department is installing new substation transformers at Fiddyment Substation and Sierra Vista Substation. Bids are being solicited for the civil construction required to support this project. The work includes pad foundation construction, containment pit modification, and conduit and grounding grid installation and modification. The substations will remain energized during construction. Refer to Section 2.16 of the specifications in the project manual for necessary contractor qualifications. This will be a competitive bid process based on the lump sum amount. Qualified contractors that meet the requirements and are capable of providing the requested services are encouraged to participate. Contractors who wish to submit a bid must attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk. Required personal protective equipment for the inspection of the project site is FR clothing in compliance with specification sections 2.8 and 2.9. Vendors not wearing the required PPE will not be allowed to enter the substation and their bids will be rejected. Bids will not be accepted from vendors that do not attend the pre-bid meeting. Prospective bidders must register in advance and attendance will be limited to no more than two attendees per bidder. *Pre Bid info: This Meeting Will Start Promptly at at the Electric Department's Fiddyment Substation. The Sierra Vista Job Walk Will Immediately Follow. The Project Site is an Energized Electric Substation. Required Ppe for the Inspection of the Project Site is Fr Clothing in Compliance With Specification Sections 2.8 and 2.9. Vendors Not Wearing the Required Ppe Will Not Be Allowed to Enter the Substation and Their Bids Will Be Rejected. Vendor Attendance is Required Question Deadline 04/17/2026
