The Board of Commissioners of the County of Camden, New Jersey, is requesting proposals for Contract Monitoring Services for the Camden County Correctional Facility & Camden County Juvenile Detention Facility. Proposals must be submitted to the Camden County Division of Purchasing, Court House - 6th Floor, 520 Market Street, Camden, New Jersey 08102. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name of the RFP clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. If hand-delivering, proposals must be left in the marked bin accessible from the 6th Street entrance to the Courthouse, available Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Proposals may not be faxed, emailed, or transmitted over the telephone. Nothing in the solicitation is intended to exclude any responsible firm or restrain competition; all responsible firms are encouraged to submit proposals. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any defect or informality in any proposal should it be in the best interest of the County. Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31. This solicitation is not a public bid and is solely to obtain competitive proposals from which the County may choose a contractor(s) that best meets the County’s needs. No statutory, regulatory, or common law bidding requirement applies to this Request for Proposals. The County intends to award any contract(s) for these services pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i).
