Site work for a communication facility in Maricopa, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The project consists of pulling new fiber in existing conduits and the placement of additional pull boxes per plan to replace the remainder of 20-year-old trunk line infrastructure from West Farrell Road to Hwy. 347, connecting Village, Mesquite, and Firehouse subdivisions, then proceeding south on Hwy 347 and east on Peters & Nall Road to the Farms Subdivision. It involves installing a fiber backbone and connecting residential homes in each subdivision to the trunkline, all within the Community's boundary. The work includes installation of approximately 4.5 miles of trunk line, 6 miles of distribution cables from the trunk line to approximately 221 community homes, 86 utility boxes or hand-holes, fiber drops to homes, including ONT demark extensions and CPE installation, and other minor components to be funded by NTIA. All bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting to understand the scope of work and bidding requirements. Proposals not received by the specified deadline will be rejected. Preference will be given to Indian Organizations and Indian Owned Enterprises according to Community Procurement Procedure. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and no bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety days after opening without Owner's consent.
