The work involves the drilling, construction, and development of 3 high-capacity, deep irrigation wells. The wells may be drilled to depths of approximately 1,400 to 1,800 feet and completed with domestic casing and gravel packing. Contractors must possess a current ADWR well driller's license (rotary drilling method) and an appropriate Arizona registrar of contractor's license number, have a primary office/yard located within Arizona (within 250 miles of MSIDD), and show verifiable recent experience with drilling irrigation wells to depths of 1,400 to 1,800 feet with 16 to 18-inch casing. No subcontracting is allowed. Contractors must comply with federal procurement standards, Build America - Buy America (BABA), and Davis Bacon wage provisions. A bid bond of 5% (limited to $50,000) and a performance bond of 100% (limited to $500,000 per well) are required. Sealed bids must be submitted to MSIDD by the specified deadline.
