The project is for the construction of a new doorway to the Recorder of Deeds Office located on the first floor of the Courthouse. The scope includes cutting a new doorway opening, building and installing a door and transom similar in style and stain to the existing first floor courthouse office doors. Some painting is required. Contractors must minimize dust and are encouraged to work during off-peak hours to reduce disruption to courthouse operations. Any drywall or plaster damage shall be repaired by the contractor. Bid specifications can be obtained from the County Clerk's Office. Sealed bids must be submitted no later than 9:00am on April 23rd, 2026 to the Gasconade County Clerk's Office, 119 E. 1st St, Room 2, Hermann, MO, 65041, or to gasconade@sos.mo.gov. he Gasconade County Commission is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new doorway to the Recorder of Deeds Office located on the first floor of the Gasconade County Courthouse. Contractors shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project described in these specifications. The work generally consists of the following: Cutting and constructing a new doorway opening into the new Recorder of Deeds Office. Installing a door and transom similar in style and design to existing office doors throughout the first floor of the courthouse. Door and transom to be built. Door and trim stain must closely match the color and appearance of existing courthouse office doors. Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions to minimize dust and debris during construction due to the courthouse remaining open to the public. Contractors are encouraged to perform work during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to courthouse operations.
