The project consists of Plumbing Piping Replacement at Evergreen Elementary School for Woodbury City Public Schools, Board of Education, Gloucester County, New Jersey. B. Contract Documents prepared by Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C. Architects / Planners, (Project Number: FVHD-5684) and their Consulting Mechanical/Electrical Engineer: French & Parrello Associates, P.A., Wall, NJ. 1.4 CONTRACT SCOPE DESCRIPTION A. The Work consists of but is not limited to the following: 1. Plumbing and Piping Upgrades throughout the school building. a. Abandon in place existing steel domestic water supply, return and recirculation piping from Boiler Room to Classroom and Toilet Room sinks. b. Install new entire piping run from the Boiler Room through the Corridors to the Classrooms and Toilet Rooms, including branch piping to existing faucets. Piping within Classrooms shall have new metal enclosures. 2. All associated general construction and electrical work. 3. All other indicated work. Replace existing steel domestic water supply, return, and recirculation piping from the boiler room to classroom and bathroom sinks. Replacement scope includes the entire piping run from the boiler room through corridors to classroom and bathroom sinks, including branch piping to existing faucets. The proposed new pipe route is to be anticipated to run within the classrooms with new metal enclosures. No mechanical, electrical, fire protection and fire alarm scope are included in this project. B. Alternate Bids: 1. Alternate Bid No. 1: Acoustic Ceiling Replacement 2. Alternate Bid No. 2: Water Heater Replacement C. Single Overall Contract: This Contract includes: 1. All Work in accordance with Drawings, Parts 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Specification Sections and in accordance with Bid Documents. 2. Plumbing Work: This Contract includes: a. Piping servicing domestic water piping systems and connection of equipment tied into the above types ofsystems and including all work in accordance with Drawings and Part-4 Specification sections. 1) Also includes both administrative and coordination responsibilities. a) PlumbingContractor isresponsible for all coordination between their Work and Work of all other Prime SubContractors. 2) Work shall include demolition and removals, as indicated or required, to allow for new construction. 3) Work shall include reinstallation, cutting, patching, finishing and repair Work associated with Plumbing system Work, as indicated or required, including Work at existing roofs; cutting, alterations, replacement and flashing Work, where indicated or required. a) Roofing Work shall be performed in accordance with requirements of existing roofing system's warranty and the Bid Documents. 3. Electrical Work: This Contract includes: a. The Work necessary for electrical power distribution, lighting, and the connections to equipment tied into such systems, including all Work in accordance with Drawings and Part-6 Specification sections. 1) Work shall include power distribution and wiring for all indicated electrically operated equipment and fixtures, (in Parts 2, 4, 5 and 6), whether shown or not on Drawings. 2) Work shall include demolition and removals, as indicated or required, to allow for new construction. 3) Work shall include reinstallation, cutting, patching, finishing and repair Work associate with Electrical Work, as indicated or required. Electronic bid documents are available from the architect's website for no fee. Requests must be made through a registered account via the FVHD contractor portal. Hard copies are available for $150 per set. All requests for information must be submitted in writing and all correspondence must include the architect's project name and project number. Questions deadline: 4/8/26, All Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted in writing by this date to the architect via email
