Site work for a civil project in Woodbury, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for the Construction of GCIA Leachate Pump Station and Forcemain includes all work related to the construction of the GCIA Leachate Pump Station, and forcemain starting from the GCIA Leachate Pump Station, located at the Gloucester County Solid Waste Complex, along Monroeville Road (CR 694), to the tie-in connection at the Swedesboro Pump Station, located at the intersection of Kings Highway (CR 551) and Glen Echo Avenue in Swedesboro, New Jersey. Work included under this project involves all site, structural, mechanical, and electrical work associated with the fabrication, construction, and installation of one (1) pump station with wet wells and associated appurtenances, and approximately 13,500 linear feet of 6" dia. HDPE forcemain with associated fittings and appurtenances. The pump station and forcemain will be installed within the following municipalities: South Harrison and Swedesboro. All work is within Gloucester County, New Jersey. Substantial Completion and Contract Completion times are 700 days and 730 days, respectively, after Contract Time commences to run. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000, made payable to the Gloucester County Improvement Authority. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond of a surety company, satisfactory to the Authority, in a sum equal to 100% of the total Contract price. Any questions/clarifications must be submitted in writing no later than by Wednesday, June 3, 2026. The Owner reserves the right, in accordance with all applicable laws, to reject bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, or to waive any minor informalities, or non-material exceptions (deviations, or omissions) as may be permitted by law, and to award the Contract to the bid which is found to be the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. Furthermore, the Owner may, in accordance with applicable laws, request written clarification of any aspect of a bid or bids where, in the Owner's opinion, ambiguities exist. Except as allowed in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening of the bids.
