Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Notasulga, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for a new canopy at Reeltown Elementary and High School for the Tallapoosa Board of Education. All General Contractors are required to visit the site and examine all existing conditions before submitting their proposal, with arrangements made directly with the school. Bidders must have general liability and workman's compensation insurance, and the project should be bid excluding taxes. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Architect, and no bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the closing. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Tallapoosa County Schools, equal to at least five percent of the bid (not exceeding $10,000.00), must accompany the proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. Bidders exceeding the State Licensing Board's threshold must be licensed, with the license number displayed on the sealed envelope. Project documents can be accessed via the McKee website, and only documents from this source are endorsed by the Architect. Addendums will only be provided to entities that have confirmed bidding. All RFIs and RFAs regarding bid documents must be addressed through the specified email forms in the project manual; telephone or fax inquiries will not be accepted. Should any Bidder or subcontractor find any ambiguity, discrepancy, omission, or error in the Drawings and Project Manual, or insufficient information to provide a complete job, or be in doubt as to the intent and meaning thereof, he should at once report such in writing to Architect and request clarification prior to bidding
