Chester County Conservation District is accepting bids for the construction of a roofed heavy use area, two manure storage structures, waste transfer systems, and water control structures along with ancillary structures in Colerain Township, Lancaster County, PA. Contractors must have demonstrated experience in constructing successful agricultural best management practices and are required to address all conditions of the design and standards, along with erosion and sediment control measures required by the CCCD and PADEP Chapter 102 regulations. Any permit requirements will be fulfilled by the landowner prior to construction. Contractors should be ready to start work after placing and following PA One-Call and agency notifications. Project funding is through the PA Department of Agriculture's Local Government Implementation grant, and Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The successful bidder is required to comply with contract compliance regulations of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and with all federal, state, and local regulations prohibiting discrimination in hiring and employment. All envelopes containing bids shall be marked as 'Ivan Fisher, LGI Project - Sealed Bid.' Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the bid package and unconditionally.
