Separate and sealed proposals will be received for the New Salem Road Water Line Replacement, Contract Number 26-1. Bidding Documents are available via email at no charge from Bankson Engineers, Inc., and printed copies may be purchased for a nonrefundable fee. Addenda will be issued only to those who have obtained official Bidding Documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. Bids will only be accepted from those on Bankson Engineers, Inc.'s list of plan holders. Bid Proposals must be submitted as a paper copy with an original signature, in an envelope with the original bid security as described in the Information for Bidders. Each proposal must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in favor of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority, amounting to no less than ten percent of the proposal amount. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and workers must be paid not less than the minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the scheduled closing time. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. Furnish all required labor, equipment and materials necessary to install approximately 485 feet of 6-inch and 8-inch diameter water line along New Salem Road, S.R. 4006
