The project consists of the construction of a Vehicle Maintenance (Fleet) Facility for the Social Circle Public Works Department. The scope of work includes all applicable site work for clearing, grading, and filling the subject property; paving for roads, parking areas, and building pads; all applicable utilities; construction of the Vehicle Maintenance Facility and other truck sheds; and erosion control measures. The work is to be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days. Bidders must provide their street address, phone number, and email. All bidders are required to have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder who will oversee all the work. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of Social Circle, Georgia, amounting to at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work. If awarded, the contractor must enter into a contract and furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, within ten days of notification.
