Site work and paving for a road / highway in Craigmont, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project generally consists of constructing 1.9 miles of a 0.25-foot thickness of asphalt paving in two lifts, with a typical width of 26 feet on top of Recycled Asphalt Base Stabilization. Work includes approximately 4,739 tons of plant mix asphalt paving, 0.80 mile shoulder widening and drainage improvements on both sides of the roadway, approximately 1,877 cubic yards of 3-inch minus and 6,123 cubic yards of 3/4 -inch aggregate to raise roadway to finish grade, and approximately 747 linear feet of drainage/irrigation pipe replacement. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal. Bid security shall be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal. Golden Gate Highway District No. 3 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive nonmaterial irregularities, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous and in the best interest of the district.
