Demolition and removal of existing concrete sidewalk, ramp, driveway aprons, and curb ramps; installation of new brick sidewalk with new concrete driveway aprons, new ADA compliant ramps, new curb ramps, raised planting area, installation of handrails, and plant installation. The project is located at the northwest corner of Carroll and Jernigan streets in downtown Perry. Work will need to be coordinated with business owners to limit disruptions. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount must be submitted with each bid. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the bidder holds either a Georgia State Contractor's License, Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, or qualifications with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work. Failure to provide the bidder's license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid. The successful bidder shall begin the work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the work within the contract time of 120 calendar days.
