Remodeling of an educational facility in Orem, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract for the completion of the scope of work outlined in this RFP and the associated construction documents for the interior remodel at Sharon Elementary School. The selected vendor will work closely with Alpine School District and the project architect to complete an interior remodel at Sharon Elementary in Orem, Utah. The project will consist of remodeling existing classroom space, restrooms and other areas in preparation of re-opening the school as a special needs school. Refer to the attached plans for a complete scope of work. Construction is anticipated to begin upon award of contract, and to be substantially completed by August 1, 2026. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score justified by the procurement code. Questions Due Date: Apr 27th 2026, 2:00 PM MDT the question and answer period close on the date and time specified on U3P. All questions must be submitted through U3P during the question and answer period. Bidders must be early or on time, as the walk-through will be closed precisely at the listed time. THOSE EVEN ONE MINUTE LATE WILL BE TURNED AWAY. Length of the Contract The contract resulting from this RFP will be for the duration of this project. Construction is anticipated to begin upon award of the contract and to be substantially completed by August 1, 2026. Background ASD is renovating the currently closed Sharon Elementary to turn it into a dedicated school for students with special needs. The project involves upgrading classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. Detailed specifications can be found in the attached scope of work. Issuing Procurement Unit, Conducting Procurement Unit, and Solicitation Number Alpine School District's Department of Purchasing is the issuing procurement unit, and Alpine School District Physical Facilities Department is the conducting procurement unit for this RFP (referred to as "the District"). The reference number for this RFP is Solicitation #ASD04282026HM. This solicitation number must be referenced on all proposals, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the District for this RFP.
