The scope of work is to supply an estimated 27,000 gallons of 15% Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid Chlorine) for the Long Island Region during the 2026-27 season (April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027). Vendors must have valid NSF 60 certification. The delivery locations are: Jones Beach State Park Sewage Treatment Plant, Jones Beach State Park Filter Plant, Jones Beach State Park West Bathhouse Pool, and Robert Moses State Park Filter Plant. The park will call for deliveries as needed. During the operational period of the West Bathhouse pool, automatic deliveries to this location are required every Monday and Thursday. Delivery quantities range from 50 to 1,000 gallons. Delivery times are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on weekends. Deliveries must be made in bulk by trucks that comply with all local laws and hazardous material handling standards. Trucks must be able to pump chemicals into tanks from a safe distance and drivers must have the proper license classification. Sodium hypochlorite must have only a reasonable amount of degradation.
