***AMENDMENT 002 OFFICIAL REQUEST FOR STANDARD FORM 330*** R10 SSP: East Waterway Operable Unit at the Harbor Island Superfund Site Remedial Design (RD) Oversight Support The purpose of the amendment is to provide clarification to the change in NAICS code. The contractor shall provide remedial design and remedial action oversight support for the East Waterway Operable Unit of the Harbor Island Superfund Site, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, site management, office support, and incidental items required to perform environmental investigation activities pursuant to CERCLA, SARA, and National Contingency Plan requirements. Work includes applying knowledge of environmental policies and regulations and familiarity with background information such as the Interim Record of Decision, remedial investigation and feasibility study, sediment fate and transport, Proposed Plan, treatability study removal action reports, and the engineering evaluation and cost analysis. The contractor shall conduct field oversight and inspections to evaluate the potentially responsible partys implementation of pre-design investigation and other data collection field work, treatability studies, remedial and removal actions, operation and maintenance, and monitoring activities, as appropriate, and shall perform associated data management activities. One cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is anticipated, with a five-year period of performance. Location: East Waterway Operable Unit, Harbor Island Superfund Site, Seattle, WA 98134.
