Astound Broadband is seeking an experienced, qualified firm to contract for the construction of tower-based wireless infrastructure for the Pierce County – Nisqually District project. The project is federally funded through the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Astound Broadband requests firms licensed in the State of Washington to provide qualifications and proposals for construction services, specifically for the wireless portion of the broadband deployment in the project area. Small, minority, and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. Firms must supply qualifications for all services requested in the RFP. Any incomplete bids will be rejected. A five percent bid guarantee is required in the form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bond as per RCW 35.23.352. Proposals must be sealed, clearly marked with the project name, and filed with Astound Broadband. A digital copy must also be provided.
