Site work for a pipeline in Middletown, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a pipeline.

The project involves the proposed construction, operation, and maintenance of a 16-inch diameter natural gas distribution pipeline operating at up to 199 psig. The pipeline would extend approximately 6,700 linear feet (1.2 miles) along two existing electric transmission easements owned by Eversource, crossing portions of Connecticut Valley Railroad State Park Trail in Middletown and Hurd State Park in Haddam and East Hampton. The work is part of Eversource’s Southeast Resiliency Project intended to strengthen Connecticut’s natural gas infrastructure and improve energy supply reliability.
