Project Scope of Work: Replace existing asphalt shingles roofing with new asphalt shingles and SA underlayment system at the entire roof. Scope includes replacement in-kind of a small section (approximately 14 square feet) of existing damaged vented soffit, and replacement in-kind of existing damaged 1x6 wood trim board at the southeast corner (approximately 14 linear feet). The new board is to be painted to match existing trim color. A provision to replace 192 square feet of plywood deck is included in base bid scope. The Work, includes replacement of existing asphalt shingles roofing with new asphalt shingles and new high-temp SA underlayment roofing system including new flashing at existing roof mounted RTU's curbs and at brick chimney. Alternate 1: Replace entire soffit area (approximately 986 square feet) with new vented soffit. Wrap existing wood fascia board (approximately 320 linear feet) with new finished metal material. Alternate 2: Replace existing gutters and downspouts with new in-kind materials. Each bid must be accompanied by a five percent bid guarantee. A performance bond and a payment bond are required for all bids over $50,000. Builders risk insurance is required to be provided by the contractor unless otherwise indicated. Bidders are cautioned to familiarize themselves with all other conditions of the contract.
