Site work and paving for a road / highway in Albany, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work includes street cleaning and placement of latex-modified slurry seal on approximately 108,000 square yards of streets and installation of new pavement markings. Instructions to bidders: Bids shall be submitted to the Finance Department via email and must be received no later than the deadline. The email subject line must include the project number and name, and the body of the email should clearly state the project name, bid opening time and date, bidder's name, and contractor's license number. Each bidder must have access to a current set of City of Albany Standard Construction Specifications. All public improvements are required to conform to these specifications and bid prices must reflect these standards. A 10% bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check must accompany each bid and be forfeited if the bidder fails to enter into a contract within 10 days after the Notice of Award. A scanned copy must be submitted with the bid. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is licensed by the appropriate board for construction or landscaping projects. Bidders are expected to be familiar with relevant statutes and provisions regarding public contracts and prevailing wages.
